Dr. Philip Turner
Pastor
Dr. Philip Turner has served as Pastor of Pine Street Baptist Church since 1991. A native of North Carolina, Dr. Turner, his wife Jennifer are the parents of two daughters and two granddaughters. In asking Dr. Turner what drew him to Pine Street Baptist Church he responds, “a deep desire to serve in an urban environment and a congregation that is rooted and grounded in God’s love for all people.” A gifted speaker and teacher, Dr. Turner is known for his easy going personality and an innovative spirit.
Rev. Jennifer Turner
Community Missionary
The Rev. Jennifer Turner serves as the Director for the Oregon Hill Baptist Center which is located in Pine Street Baptist Church. A native of Richmond, Rev. Turner directs the social ministries of the church. In cooperation with the Richmond Baptist Association, the Oregon Hill Center has served the community for over 30 years. Rev. Turner’s leadership and gifts allows her to work with all ages within the Oregon Hill community. A compassionate and conscientious heart has enabled Rev. Turner to forge strong ties to the people of Oregon Hill and the surrounding community.
Rev. Clint Jackson
Associate Pastor
A native of Kentucky, Clint Jackson joined the staff in 2006 as Associate Pastor. Clint’s responsibilities have grown and changed over the years. As Associate Pastor he continues to assist in
worship leadership, and to
teach adult Bible studies on Sunday and Wednesday. Clint also serves in
various administrative roles, including serving as the church’s Treasurer and Investment Representative, overseeing the church’s financial position. He and his wife, Martha, have four children and
four grandchildren.
